My start on My Christmas Cards

Well this is what Ive been doing this week instead of completing challenges for my blog!!. Whilst at the Doncaster show earlier this year I picked up this set of four Christmas Sheets with additional Acetate sheets and inserts from Jem's Designs. ''Clearly bowed Creates another form of 3D effect card with s tunning finish, ideal for all crafters whatever experience level you may be''.
Basically the printed Acetate sheet is used to creat the 'bowed effect' on the card. You can either use the sheets as they are or, if you are like me and cant leave things alone, you can alter as required to your personal tastes. Ive used them on different styles and sizes of cards, for e.g sticking to an 8inch sq card and also creating easel cards.

Checkout their site, they have some really great products!.

Passion for ProMarkers - Photo Inspiration

Hi, thanks for stopping by.
Its Monday so that meant it was time for me to finish the card for Passion for Promarkers #69. Their challenge was to make a card that was inspired by the photo provided so I used the colours Pink and Green. For the card I used a Skelekinz image available from Bugaboo Stamps. This image was, of course!, coloured with Promarkers.

Kenny K's Krafty Girls - Music Challenge

Hello everyone,
Can you believe another week gone already, this year is going so fast. Just not sure yet if we can class the summer over with, but then the the glass half empty kind of people may say we have 'nt had summer yet..
Anyhow, this card was made using the sketch from the Sketch Saturday Sketch Challenge #118, using the theme Music as part of the Kenny K's Krafty Girlz challenge for this week. I distressed the edges of the papers and card to prevent the card looking to 'clean cut'. The image Rock Dude, which was coloured with Promarkers, is from the new Rock Squad collection available from Kennyk Downloads. One of the bp (the brick background) is from the Create and Craft Speciality |Papers range. The embellishments are from stash.

Other Challenges -
Sweet Stamping Challenge blog #41 - Distressed
Christmas Stamping All Year Long #62 - Non Christmas Card

Crafty Anns Sketch Challenge #22

Hi,
Well Im supposed to be starting my 2010 Christmas cards and yes I know most card crafters would have started them before now, but since I started a blog I dont seem to have any time. Now, if I'm not making a card Im writing about it on here!......
So on to todays post... There's some really nice sketches around on this weeks various challenge blogs. This card was made using the sketch design from sketch challenge #22 over at Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog. I used the Golfer image available here from KennyK downloads which I coloured with Promarkers. The sentiment which I thought went very well with this Golfer image is a freebie from Create with TLC checking out this site is a must!. The papers etc are from stash.

I'm also entering the card into the following challenges -
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge #47 - Orange, Blue and Brown
Stamping for the Weekend #45 - Anything goes
Allsorts #67 - Park Inspiration
CES Challenges #1 - Anything Goes
