Piano Card - Jems Shop Window CD Samples

I have created this page in response to requests for instructions on how to make the Piano Card from the Jems Shop Window CD Samples. I hope the following helps if you would like to re-create the Piano Card. To try and make it easy to follow I recreated the card and took photos at different stages of the process.

Start with an A3 card, divide into quarters. Cut away bottom left quarter.  Print and cut the required decoupage sheets

Create 4 spacers from 4 pieces of card 14cm x 9cm. Score down the short (9cm) edge at 1cm and 3cm intervals as shown in the photo

Fold along each score line. Glue the edges together. Repeat process until you have the 4 spacers.
Glue the 1st spacer to the base of the card and to the front of the decoupage
Stick the next piece of the decoupage to the front of the 1st spacer

Continue adding the spacers and decoupage layers to the card.

Make sure when adding the spacers to the card that they are in line and flush with card. This will make it easier to fold the card when completed.

Add  backing papers and a topper to front of card.
Finish the card with peel offs and embellishments.  This card will fit into an A5 envelope.
